Sony sues Geohot

Sony sought a temporary injunction against the jailbreak, supposedly authored by a blogger who goes by “Geohot”.  His history; and the summation of the case so far is summarized in these links… after the jump.

Personal commentary:  Obviously being an officer of the court, I’m not going into extended critique of an ongoing case. (Cue up Georgia Sattelites music, etc.)  I will say it brings up a lot of interesting issues on both sides.  I will follow up on this case as conditions warrant.  Comments?
